Thanks to BT for pointing out this hysterical new HBO show to me. These parts could have been played by the boys from WEEN.

Remember this girl? Did you ever say “Hey, she looks pretty good - for a girl with a boy haircut. Wonder what she’d look like with long hair?”

Here ya go: (She’s back with a new solo effort that’s pretty darn good)

Charles Taylor’s War Crimes Trial begins Monday

June 3, 2007 · No Comments

The former president of Liberia, Charles Taylor, will go on trial for war crimes beginning tomorrow at the Hague. Taylor played a key role in the bloody civil war in neighboring Sierra Leone by backing and supplying the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) as a means of destablizing the Sierra Leone government.

After reading Ishmael Beah’s memoir, A Long Way Gone, I for one hope Taylor is convicted and sentenced to a fate similar to those met by the child soldiers of Sierra Leone.
